Elmira’s own…Mike and Don Slam the Blackfish
Return Offender Mike and Newbe Don, were excited about trying their hand at Blackfising, but neither knew what a trear they were in for!!!
The day started off slow, with a Tog here and there, but as the tide slowed, the duo started bailing the Blackfish… One by one, the action increased, and the size of the fish increased as well!!
For over 1 hour it was lock and load…the Tog were really slamming..The boys were hitting 3 – 5 lb. fish…then a 6..then a couple of 7 lb. fish..then Don caught a Togzilla weighing in at 9 1/2 lbs.
They also got slammed by some bigger fish that never made it to the surface, and won the battle…When all was said and done..the crew had limited out with some amazing fish…What a Day Guys!!!
