Getting out early for Jerry and Dean Kessler was a rewarding adventure for the duo!… Leaving the dock at the crack of dawn on a beautiful Saturday morning was a treat in itself. But what this father and son were soon going to experience, was a fabulous Bass Bite!

The crew headed out in calm seas and started to pick away at Bass after Bass trolling wire line. Then as the tide started to slow, the Bass started to stack up, and the light tackle jig bite was on…

After a few lessons of certain jigging tactics, Capt. Skip, Jerry and Dean were slamming Bass after Bass with light tackle..

The crew limited out in no time, with fish from 15-20 lbs.!!! Dean was high hook with a real big 25+ lb. Bass that was released at the side of the boat along with over 20 other Bass…

When the bite slowed, the crew shifted gears and did some Fluke fishing to finish the day…Dean had the only keeper of 20 1/2″, amongst many short fish and sea robins.

Not only did the Kesslers have a great day of fishing, but learned many tips on how to fish and tackle to use for their solo outings in the near future…Great fishing with you guys!
