Over the past week anglers’ choice of species have continued to increase… So many fish; so little time!

Speckled Trout are still plentiful in Mobjack Bay.

In the York River, Croaker continue to be caught in good numbers, with Spot, Gray Trout and Flounder catches increasing daily.

On the Eastern Shore side of the Chesapeake Bay large Flounder catches are on the upswing.

Recent charters chumming on York Spit are catching Shark with ease. With Cobia catches reported at Bluefish Rock off Poquoson, the big brown ones should be on the Spit within the next week or so.
