OFFSHORE FISHING
Finally got a short break in the winds so we went offshore with Jake and Alex Baumann. Charlotte, NC; Sherry and Charles Lloyd, Greensboro, NC; and Chris Barbee, Winston-Salem, NC. The group had a good day of catching Black Bass, Silver and grey Snappers, Bee-Liners, Sharks and other assorted good eating bottom fish.
As Capt. Butch said, “You got to love it when you go offshore bottom fishing for a full day and at 1 o’clock they tell you they have all the fish they know what to do with and that was with most of the group not even fishing!!”
Looks like the wind is going to blow again for a few days so we’ll have to see what happens.
