Bass bite has Officially Begun !!!
After a few days of doing some exploratory fishing, Pursuit of Bass is starting to zero in on a good Striped Bass bite ! The Church of the early morning risers set sail on Sunday morning to see how the bite was, and all expectations were fulfilled. Ron, T-Rod, Hector, Don, and Capt. Skip set out at 1st light and got into a great early morning bite of Bass. The crew started by dragging wire and boated a few nice 34-40 inch Bass. Then the Bass stacked up, the crew went on to jigging…For a while it was fast and furious, it was every man for himself, and before the mayhem was over, the crew limited out and released over 25 nice Bass…Don was high hook with a sweet, 40 ” 23lb. Bass while all others ranged from 10 -20 lbs. Way to start the season and Christen the 2013 season…
