Joni Beats Up the Blackfish on Her Day Off!
Capt. Skip , Donny , and Ron were accompanied by special guest Joni , to the Blackfish grounds…
The day started out with a hard, steady wind out of the North west!..Fishing was tough for all, but newcomer, Joni made the best of the weather by learning the technique of Tog fishing. The gang had a few keepers and lots of shorts in the AM, but as the wind died out, the crew was off to the Conn. shoreline.
And not to be disappointed, the crew got into a great bite, and soon limited out with some nice 3-5 lb. fish…Then Joni put her skills into overdrive and boated the largest Blackfish of the day, just over 7 lbs.
Way to go Joni and crew! We have a new addicted Blackfisherman for life!!!
