Ian and Gang hit some Fluke!
David, Mike and Ian came down for a day of fishing for Bass, and Fluke! Although the Bass bite continues to be slow, the gang fished numerous Bunker schools, with the hope of live-lining some Blues and Bass..
Bunker after Bunker school, we finally had a runoff which Ian had a big bluefish…When it got close to the boat, the blue bit the fish in half and took off!
Then the gang got into some serious Fluke fishing…Fish after fish were shorts, with some nice 18 – 19″ fish…Darn…too short to keep…Then Ian got a nice 24″ flattie weighing 6 lbs.
The day closed with short fluke after short fluke ,and a mess of those pesky Sea Robins…It will be a nice warm up for next weeks Sea Robin Roundup Tournament!
