11 1/2 lb. Tog Surfaces in the Fog!
Leaving the dock on a calm, eerie, foggy morning brought out the best in some big Blackfish today!. Capt. Skip brought along friends, Steve, Rich, Tom and Dave for what we hoped was to be a good bite of some big Tog. By the time the anchor was set,the bite began! Everyone on board started hitting fish from 3-6 lbs. Capt. Skip landed a nice 7 lb. fish,then the others followed with some impressive Tog. As the tide slowed, the bite slowed, with a pick here and there. Then after 10 minutes of no fish, wham!. Skip landed his season high, 11lb. 8 oz. Bulldog! After a great fight, the weigh in, and a few pictures, he was carefully released to swim free for another day! This is why we all love Blackfish season…can’t wait till tomorrow! WOW
