Sam with 52" striper June 21

The fishing has been some of the best I have seen in years. We are catching fish in the rivers well as on the coastline. Plenty of mackerel and stripers.  We are catching fish from 18 inches to a 52 inch Striper- average is right around 30 inches, but have caught a handful of fish over 40.  We also caught a tagged fish that was 31 and 1/8 inches. We reported the info and are looking forward to finding out where the fish is from, when it was tagged, etc… I have enjoyed meeting new fishing friends and am looking forward to the next few weeks. I think the fishing will remain steady for a while. I will be thinking about more offshore trips in the near future for tunas, sharks, etc…
