Striped bass have moved into Block Island Waters…..mix of schoolies and larger bass around 15-20 lb range. right now.  Sand Eels are everywhere, and the bass are gorging themselves on them…Umbrella Frames are working great and parachute jigs too are starting to connect.  Plenty of action, and the bigger bass are on their way.  June should be a great month for fantastic Striper action around Block Island.  We started chartering last weekend and all 4 trips we have done, have limited out on the bass and threw back plenty of shorts and some legal fish as well.  Blues are starting to show up too, but only a few blues a day have been caught.  Fluking is still a lot of throw backs, but as the water warms up things should change drastically.
