Embedding Reports
It is very easy to embed the reports for any contributor on a website. The code that needs to be inserted can be found at the bottom of the page that contains all the reports for the contributor. The link to that page (See All Reports) can be found at the bottom of every report.
The code in the text box is HTML. You simply need to copy/paste it into the appropriate place on a webpage. There are several controls that can be changed as follows:
allreports=10
The number (default = 10) controls the number of reports that appear in the report window.
width=”100%”
This controls the width of the reports window. It can be changed to a value in pixels such as “216px”. There are 72 pixels per inch (216px = 3 inch). The value “100%” (default) allows the window to use the full width of the element where it is placed.
height=”500px”
This controls the height of the reports window. It can be changed to any value in pixels such as “216px”. There are 72 pixels per inch (216px = 3 inch). If the height is not sufficient to display the desried number of reports, a scroll bar appears withing the window that allows the visitor to scroll down to see more reports.
style=”border: 1px solid #000;”
The “1px” element controls the size of the border around the window. It can be changed to “0px” if you do not want a border. It can also be increased to 2px or more. The “#000” controls the color of the border. This can be changed to any hex color value (including 6 character codes). Here are some common choices:
Color | Color HEX |
---|---|
#000 | |
#F00 | |
#0F0 | |
#00F | |
#FF0 | |
#OFF | |
