Banging the Bass on Memorial Day !!! 5/26/14
The night before, Capt. Skip had a crew of 6 to join him for some holiday fishing, but one by one, the texts started….”I have to go to Dr.”, “Im sick “, ” Im shot, got to sleep in”…OH well , it was just the Capt. and old faithful Don Burch…
The duo did great, catching some nice Bass and some quality Fluke !!!
Skip nailed 3 Bass and 1 Bluefish before Don got slammed with a nice 20 lb. Striper…then the boys went Fluke Fishing, and Skip out fished Don On the Fluke front…WHAT…is that correct ??? yes, the Capt. had a 19″, 21″, and a beautiful 24″ Doormat before Don even got a fish ! But all in all, the boys did great and can’t wait for some delicious fillets for dinner…Way to go Don !!!
