With looming bad weather in the forecast, Good Friends, Stan, with daughters, Chloe and Sasha brought 1st time fisherman (father and daughter) Rob and Saidie on a trip to remember.

The gang started by Striped Bass fishing, and were treated to a slow but steady Bass bite with a few Bluefish mixed in…Saidie was the only one who didn’t hook up at the time…but keeping her confidence high, she kept plugging away and was soon to be rewarded…As the Bass bite slowed, the crew went on to Fluke fishing…All on board caught numerous short Fluke and Sea Robins…Stan showed everyone up, and was crowned, ( King of the Sea Robins ) !! Rob got into the hang of it as well and caught some nice fish.  Then there were a few small, but keeper Fluke caught, then WHAM…Saidie got a nice fish on….the rod was bent hard, and then you saw a Monster 28″, 8 1/2 lb. Doormat caught by her…That’s a trophy in my book, as well as most others.. To finish the day, the crew then tried alittle more Bass fishing, but the rain was starting to fall..Ok, game over..good fishing….Way to go all…
